New Order playing “Digital” (Joy Division) with John Simm on stage.
Joy Division - Atmosphere
Can’t stop listening to him.
Because that scene of Trainspotting is stuck in my head…
Brian Eno - Deep Blue Day
New Spoon Single.
“Written In Reverse”
This post is dedicated to the lovely Bianca, whose birthday is today.
Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien. He is best known for being freakishly tall (6’5”), striking rock-star poses, for making the tingly guitar noises in Lucky, writing the riff for Street Spirit, singing “EEEEEEEEED” during Apreggi and for whom without no one would have any idea when to clap or go “YAY” during 15 Step.
(Happy Birthday, B! I hope it’s a good one.)
K posted this for me yesterday. <3 <3 <3
I just have to reblog it. -_-
I think I will continue with my favorite songs until the end of the year. It’s fun. -_-
For this one, we have some more Radiohead.
Radiohead - Idioteque
This track was probably one of the first three songs I heard by the band. Completely different from anything I listened to at the time, and still, it does not remind me of anything else. Both, studio and live versions, Idioteque still sounds amazing to me. The buildup the band creates when performing it live… I will never get enough of it. The suspence. The beepy noises. The crazy dancing. I love it.
